I can only assume that the reason is, Edmonton really does not feel he fits with them and/or is too soft for a team with all that young talent. So they wanted to up their toughness instead with Gryba. - Aetherial
Yeah that and we are too young already, with Schultz and Klefbom, and Reinhart and Nurse competing for spots as well. Need more vets, and so he goes. |

Marty should be able to. He still has a lot of potential. You got a better deal than just 'ok'. 4th rounders are largely useless at the draft unless you're really good at drafting. - HonkyTonkMan
I hope your right. Time will tell, but for now. It's not a win or a loss yet. |

He was better in 2013-14, for sure, but I like him. Don't look at his height and think your getting Chara though. He's a very good skater and can make the first pass well. A bit soft and not physical for big man. I think he has the potential to be a nice, safe puck mover similar to Gilbert, Petry, Sekeras or Stralman. Give him time. Might do well playing with Robidas for a season. - HonkyTonkMan
I think you guys were wise to up the toughness in the lineup. You know that teams are going to try to push you guys around physically. It won't be wise to get in a track meet with Edmonton. |

I can see that being a very good dependable 14 minute 3rd pairing. |

excessive testosterone levels - mr.sir
Genetics, on a whole number of possible genes + testosterone.
I *think* is a myth that bald men have more or excess testosterone. They just got the bad genes.

KesselRules and I are going to be hosting a conference on this in the next few weeks.
You should sign up... or, we could maybe discuss it here? This is a hockey board though so I dunno if we should.

Eks, 3 for 3 trade. Probably be Polak, Komarov and Bozak for Nikitin, Yakupov and a late round draft pick.
Edit: I'm kidding |

Yea, a couple of non-toronto based reporters giving their opinion, and Lebrun saying he wants 6x6 independent of the Leafs rumour.
I doubt Dubas would do that.
If he does, I'm going to lose confidence in the new crew.
And they'd be crushed. |

As the fallen Goalie Jose Theodore once said, "I'd rather have a full head of hair than be bald and Canada's third string goalie".

I'll be the dude that smells of Rogaine. - KesselRules
Rogaine was originally a blood pressure medication Minoxidil (sp?).
I worked in the QC lab at Upjohn in 1984/1985 the company that made minoxidil. People who worked with it discovered increased hair growth.(Upjohn no longer exists)
Before it was approved for use for baldness, we used to get calls from doctors about what it was soluble in and what concentrations we should make. Of course, we could never answer those questions.
years later, I actually used Rogaine for about 8 months. It does nothing really for baldness at the front, but hair really does regrow on baldspots at the back. Me and another guy at work used to kid each other about being on the juice.

Gotta find a way to wrestle Draisaitl away from them. We need C, they have an abundance. Yakupov is not what we need right now. Chiarelli is not opposed to dealing young talent for immediate help. And judging from some of the deals We've seen since Friday, nothing is out of the question. |

I don't think you get cancer, but your hair does eventually fall out, faster than the rest of your hair falls out. It doesn't cause all your hair to fall out faster, just where it caused regrowth.
The fact is, it was too expensive to use just to cover my bald spot. I shaved the ponytail off one day, and just took the #1 clippers to my whole head. I haven't been the slightest bit concerned about losing my hair since |
