you need the good soldiers playing in the good slots. Plek and DD are 2nd line center. Eller is a third line center, Chucky might be a 1st line center in the making.
Plek and DD are redodnant. you need to part with one of them to give the 2nd line spot to Chucky.
Chcuky won't play on the third line as a center neither does DD. |

Plek is a first line center last time I checked. Not a bad one also.

Filter the centers and look it up.
BTW, Eller's a 4th line center making 3,5M a season.

There is one reason why MTl can't do the same job in the playoffs. Our best center and our 2nd D are inexistant.
CanT, win when 15M$ (i include Plekanec, DD, Markov) is a no-show.

fans need to stop with this brutal trade offers...Desharnais and Eller for Couture??? Why would San jose do that? I dont think we can move Desharnais or get anything of substance for Eller. We need to either offer picks or prospects in order to get back a decent top 6 fwd + take some cap. |

Eller is a much better player

I'm not a fan of DD but at least he can make plays. Eller has the hockey sense of a tree stump, everytime he gets the puck on his stick on a rush or in the offensive zone he always kills the play by making the stupidest decisions.
