just trying to make the team better

I think they go up tempo and role 3 lines

If Reinhart only scores 49 pts, they should consider a buyout.

I am certain that the city will be happier next year with a playoff series than with a lottery pick.

Could you imagine if this draft was in Buffalo?

Ho boy.

I wonder if he would get Zac Rinaldo or Tanner Glass for him straight up at that point...

I'd be curious of what your 3 lines looked like then....

Kane - ROR - Ennis
McGinn - Eichel - Girgensons
Moulson - Reinhart - Gionta

then Foligno, Deslauriers, Legwand, and McCormick as extras?

Kane ROR Kessel
Girgensons Eichel Ennis
Moulson Reinhart Gionta

He wanted to add another top 6 forward

they need 2 d men, for sure

I am all for upgrading the talent and ensure moulson and gionta are on the third line

- homiedclown

I agree, as Weber and Rhud should be a 7/8, McCabe is a bit of an unknown and Gorges' knee is a big risk. Good things, is $$ isn't an issue since most of the UFA D are older, will probably only get 3-4 year contracts and will be off the books when are youngsters need the bi $$

Look at what happened to NYI when they traded for 2 solid veteran Dman last year - similar thing could happen in Buffalo

Still think we need a top 6 RW and another back up goalie

We do though.

Weber and Ruhwedel are nothing more than 6/7 defensemen at best.

Murray is in win now mode meaning playoffs this year and serious contenders in 16/17.

Gionta was just on GR saying when he signed his 3 year deal that Murray said contender within his contract.

- dadeadhead

I'm not sure I really agree with this. Everyone brought in that counts is under 25, and it's not like we've dropped our 1st next year.

I'd rather get Nash, shorter deal so there would be money when the kids get paid

put nash on the first line, kane on second line

nash can also play both sides

Nash can play both sides but he mostly plays the left.

But I feel ya on the shorter deal idea, I just think Nash would cost more to get in a trade than Kessel

Kessel has $4-million bonus payable tomorrow (July 1), which I presume is why some teams are waiting to make best trade offer after that...

The NBA gets at least 5 times the amount of coverage than the NHL...that's pretty self explanatory

Pretty sure he knows what he is talking about there.
