What is it with these Boston sports teams trying to completely manipulate the "true" fans?

It does work, just like it did in USSR, Venezuela or Cuban, propaganda on morons always works.

But the guys with, " I would rather have McQuaid play as the 2-3 D-man over Hamilton. He is much safer and makes less mistakes."


Maybe Sweeney is a HUGE Genius...........but keeping Chara and Kelly? Then Krejci and Ericksson?

I think the Bs brass is 100% riding on Chara returning to TOP THREE in the Norris voting.

Riding that Seidenberg being Chara's 1B D-man like it was a few years ago.

Maybe they are right............I just have a hard time thinking they stay healthy.

Crazy talk! If the Bruins trade Rask, it will need to be for a 30 goal scorer and a top 4 defense-man. To be honest; I would go with Jones and Subban and free up 7 million to get a tier one forward and a 4th defense-man. Its sounds crazy but trading Rask could secure a solid young tier1 forward and defense-man. That would allow Sweeney to move other pieces such as R. Smith for a draft pick or some muscle on the third line. Krejci in my opinion is not worth 7.2 million. Maybe Edmonton would send Hopkins (6m) to Boston for Krejci. Crazy ideas but after what happen Friday; we need goal scorer and defense. The goalie is only as good as the people around him. Rask could get very frustrated quickly and could make for a really really BAD season. Let Martin and Subban develop under less than desirable conditions. Sorry Rask and Krejci fans. I would never trade Bergy (never)..

That's my belief of the matter. Seriously, you have seen my arguments, I wanted to build around Hamilton and trade Chara for whatever we could get.

But, there has to be a thought process behind what they did............I think it is incorrect logic, in all likeliness.

I just wish we could SEE what they were planning.

One of the most "odd" things going on right now is that many in the media and maybe the Bs management, with these leaks, seem to think that the "hardcore fans" are just idiots and not that bright!?!?

I watched Seguin play along Bergy and lead the team in point........I watched Hamilton play as our best D-man last season.........I saw the drop off in Chara's play THREE YEARS AGO.........I have seen Lucic get paid for potential and over THREE YEARS not lived up to it and STILL disappear for most of the season............I saw Seidenberg struggle for 3/4 of the season after his knee surgery..........ETC.
