Do you mean the Flyers?
- sbroads24

Yes, it was the Flyers, with Afinagenov snaking through their entire PYLON of defensemen , just pilling on, in front of National Audience. Bobby Clarke must have been having brain annrisms!

Jiri Dudacek is reporting for camp. Tom Cousineau is rumored to be driving him.

Over/under for UFAs is 2.5. You know he'll be adding a LH dman and a goalie for Rochester or to back up in Buffalo. I don't tbink he adds a forward or a second dman, but with gmtm you never know.

UFA predictions - nothing surprising.here:

Martin, 3 yrs 5 per
Neuvirth 3 yrs, 2 per
Other possibilities: Odulya, Stewart, Stafford (if be doesn't reup with WIN), beauchamp or whatever his name is

Great memory! No, that was a different and possibly more awesome game. That game we did put up 9 and I distinctly remember Andrew Peters being robbed for#10 (the roof wood have blown off the place if that happened). If memory serves me that was rock bottom for the Flyers and they blew it up the next day. It may also have been our high point, unfortunately.

That's why I found your trade proposal so poignant. For me it just epitimized the distance we have come from what we had to live under for so long.

I don't know how you blame Lindy for that. Max was a one-trick pony and the jig was up.

he was playing with boulton and kaleta, or 2 bumbs like them on the 4th line

it was 1 on 5 because nobody else gave a dam

he was fine for the thrashers which proved lindy (frank)ed him up ever since the soccer ball chaos

The FA loss of Daniel Briere, Chris Drury, Brian Campbell, J.P. Dumont(for "Franking" Ales!) will NEVER be duplicated in their effect to a franchise and a fan base.

What Boston did yesterday was peanuts compared to what we suffered through after reaching so close.........and then just letting it fade away........like ashes in the breeze.........

Like Hodgson he earned his way to that line. He had a brief stretch of success with the Thrashers before flaming out.

Michael - will you be doing a.review of.our draft? I'm really interested in the story behind our 7th rd pick. Supposedly he's 20 and hoped to.not.get drafted so he'd be an UFA after college.how will it work out now - bear his talent level is much higher than 7th. Hear they think they gitna huge steal with the 5th rd pick too.

Could anyone even imagine if Chicago only wanted to sign Toews and Kane got wind, then Toews after seeing what was going on, was like, F-this poop I'm out muttha puckers......

1 team losses its All-Star Number 1 and Number 2 Centermen on the highest scoring team in decades! What a joke

Buffalo Sabres

Draft picks: The Sabres had six selections in the draft, including generational talent Jack Eichel.

Best and worst choices: Eichel might be the best draft pick in Sabres history, and that's saying something! Going back to their first pick—Gilbert Perreault—Buffalo has had success in the draft. Brendan Guhle was taken early for what he brings, and the Sabres gave up a lot in the Ryan O'Reilly trade as described by the Canadian Press (via TSN).
