Are you ok with paying ror 60 million over eight yrs?

They can only offer a 7 year deal.

Should we be in on Sharp now? The price is dropping and we're far better than I thought we'd be. Not having a third doesn't help.

I'm going to start by adding Bogo and Risto to this list, and then I'm going to ask this question:Go back to November, 2011. How different do you think things would have been if this group played in front of Miller when Lucic stagecoached him?

The difference between the reaction of our old soft core, and the reaction we would all expect from this new group is a measure of how far we have come so far. I'm really so excited about the changes that are being made to this franchise. It's not just a difference in talent - its a difference in attitude and approach to the game.

OOOH, AH, Sabres on the warpath!!

- Der Kaiser

It is definitely exciting, an accelerated rebuild. New coach, new GM's pieces in place and its fun to be happy about our team for a change.
Love the old school cheer too, Kais.
And the Redbreast I bought for yesterday was delicious.

Zadorov is an unknown but his ceiling his top-pairing D. Many here did not want to give him up for ROR.
- Slump Buster

As I said earlier all of you guys were against it minus two of you. That changed pretty quickly after the trade? The reason I said really is Bcs okposo isn't far off from oreilly imo. Numbers the past two seasons are comparable both play a power fwd role actually the way oreilly has played the last two seasons physically I'd say okposo fits that description more so.

In short view it appears we overpaid for Lehner but I don't see a single scout or report that Talbot, Lack, etc are potential top 5 goalies or with great upside.

Giving 2 or 3 picks instead of 1 is not nice eithet

NICE! I said that to Danny Gare last night after our Eichel pick and he smiled and asked if they had remade it for the kids with studio, I said no I have the 45 and my kids love it!

I think we're good with forwards, maybe look for a few UFA dmen, I don't need any more trades. The Gibson thing is ridiculous, Murray is honest to a fault and yesterday he called Lehner a championship caliber goalie. Lehner is the starter for the foreseeable future

Happens literally with every fan base, not unique to us. I don't have a problem with the trade it's the contract that's got me grinding my teeth. Okposo didn't seem quite the same returning from that injury (doesn't sound like he was really ever available either) and I think O'Reilly's probably better in his own end.

The eye thing is a bit scary also, I'm presuming everything is ok, but an injury like that is not normal in the sense and good knock to the head might detach it again, I believe. If I'm Okposo, I might bank a few million and call it early, can't risk losing your eyesight.

If you can get a player like Gibson, you do it.

Competition at every spot makes for better players.

Dan Bylsma just said it's early, but Zemgus Girgensons could be moved back to wing.

Looks like Buffalo could be like

Kane O'Riley Ennis
Moulson Eichel Girgensons
McGuinn Reinhart Gionta
Desluaries Larsson Foligino

I prefer Reinhart on the wing playing with better offensive players but we'll see..

I did not want to give up Zads. I'm not thrilled with him being moved but I'm also not pissed off either.

Marcus Foligno is no joke, it took sits brother 5 years to turn into the machine he is now. Ottawa gave up on him too early, I forget who they got back in that deal...a pick?

Grab a F and a D in free agency. The Gibson thing is probably off base but ya never know with Trader Tim.

Agreed oreilly is better in his own end different tangibles different players. His eye injury is fine, fully recovered sometimes when you're out for as many games as okposo was it takes a while to get the timing back. He was good in the playoffs. As far as the every fan base does it part meh, not so sure about that? It was a pretty shocking about face. You guys were adamant about not trading Zadarov for ror. Hey if you're happy now that's all that matters.
