Wow......I do truly feel sad for you that you won't let yourself enjoy this transfermation. The entire league is drooling over what Buffalo is doing, oh and by the way, the ONLY reason we are in this position is because we finished LAST. Without Jack, we don't trade for ROR, we probably suffer another year. GMTM walked up to that mic and Jack Eicheled the league and then slapped them with ROR for a good young D man with potential giving us Top 8 Center Depth in the entire league while Boson self-destructs.

The only time a GM has to get MORE than he gives is when he has a small back account, when you save your money (picks,prospects) you can't actually keep them as there is a 50 contract limit. When the tax man is going to take 30% of your savings, you don't have a problem giving your grandson a house!

Its not strokes that differenciates our preferences, its logic.

Considering he sent a borderline NHL player in Grigorenko and a defensemen that struggled in his first NHL season for a ROR, Jamie McGinn, David Legwand, and Robin Lehner I don't think there is much opinion there.

In this case Murray sent a few $20 prospects and came back with 3 $100 NHL players.

At the end of the day he is still ahead.

I would say 2 $100 players and maybe a $75 one. Robin Lehner of far less caliber than the other two.

Based on NHL stats it is factual. If Zadorov and Grigorenko pan out if 3-4 years, Then this can be challenged.

In this case Murray sent a few $20 prospects and came back with 3 $100 NHL players.

At the end of the day he is still ahead.

He said the same thing himself. The other trades were gutsy and required serious sack. Maybe they work, maybe they don't. It was the right time to make them and time will tell. It's a refreshing change to the conservative approach we've seen for the last 15 years. I don't want a GM that is paralyzed by fear.

Murray finished what Darcy started there. It only took 6 years after Briere/Drury to do it.

Murray has put a huge stamp on this team. I like it, this team is much better than it was on opening night on January 2013.
