Why so negative? We added two top-6 forwards and a potential #1 goalie and gave up no roster players what so ever. Zadorov is a loss, but he was likely going to be in Rochester this year anyway.

The two top 6 forwards come with stipulations in the form of short contracts and being notorious difficult to negotiate with. I could see it being a major distraction when instead we should have mature vets showing the young guys what this league is about. Zadorov was not going to be in Rochester. Just my opinion.

He can definitely lead by example but i think it's ultimately Eichel's "C" to lose.

I think ROR will be locked up very quickly, not sure you make that trade without knowing exactly what your going to have to pay him. For better or worse I think ROR is here for awhile.

I like larsson as well, Legwand could hit the AHL for all I care, but some of the guys that played hard last season need to duke it out for a spot, and if there is interest from other teams, we can shop them. I really liked Phil Varone's play: not a stud on the score sheet, but hard working, knows his role and is willing to do what is needed. Could be a nice 4th liner, perhaps 3rd with the right paring for another team
