He said something about Lehner was the goalie he wanted and is most familiar with. I sure hope he's right. I guess he wanted him in part because of his RFA status, as opposed to the UFA's of Lack and Talbot.

We needed a goalie and what we saw last season wasn't doing it . Glad we moved on from everyone of them. Lehner needs a chance. Might be 3.0+ GAA but we can overcome that now . And his stat might get lower. he is still young..lots of upside..and he is ours.

Plus Unlike Talbot or Lack will still be an RFA at the end of his deal. We own his rights for a while. Still not a fan of giving up the first for him, but I understand it.

Murray's explanation later on was interesting. He offered 31 and they said no. They came back and said that it was 21 or he was going to another team. If you really really want a guy are you going to not do it over 10 spots at the bottom of the first round?
