Is separate blogs I have read that the Leafs are targeting Tlusty, Sharp and now Winnik. It has also been reported that they may look at signing Franson. Not exactly the moves a team wanting a slow and steady rebuild makes.

Kudos to Toronto and Shanahan for convincing Babcock to take the Leafs coaching job. As a Sabres fans, I would have loved to see him coach the Sabres.

But I don't think it is going to work out for the Leafs if they allow Babcock to talk them into winning now, which is what you are trying to do if you trade for or sign players like Sharp, Tlusty, Franson and Winnik. bickell to the flames is literally one of the deals i most dread happening. plausible but ugh.

First I highly doubt the isles are trading up to get the 3rd pick, it would cost too much. And if they did I would want them to take hanifan not strome.
