With this 3 on 3 thing Hagelin's value just jumped IMO. Guy is great defensively and on the PK, great at transitioning from D to O, and has blazing speed.
Kreider, Hagelin, and McD in OT. You can almost hear goaltenders wincing now knowing how fast Kreider will be going when he plows them over.

Absolutely, theres no doubt teams are eyeing Miller at 2-2.5. Thats not a bad deal for him at all and they pay pennies on the dollar. Would you take a 2016 2nd rounder from a team like EDM or BUF for Miller?

Offer sheets are few and far between, but they are still a scary possibility. A team like EDM has nothing to lose and everything to gain in these type of situation. They either get to add a young power forward coming into his own that can step into a top 6 role for them immediately, or they don't and do nothing but fuk the Rangers. Hopefuilly Sather built up enough respect around the league to avoid one, but who the hell knows

True, but that team with McDavid can instantly become 10x better and contend for a playoff position next year. Couple that with Miller, if they sign a decent goalie, and an added year of development for Nurse, they may soon turn it around.

Don't think EDM has the cap space to overpay Miller.

Pitt has about as much cap room as the Rangers. But don't have to sign their bigger name RFAs. If they trade Sutter, they will have more room to possibly sign MSL. I still think if NY goes to him and offers him a one-year deal at $1 mil w/ some incentives, possibly in line with what he produced last year, he might accept. However, that can only happen if Klein is moved to create room.
