I really don't know why the Nash trade speculation has disappeared, I think it's going to happen
- jimbro83

I know I'm carrying that flag by myself, but I just think in terms of value. Talks must e had on that front.

Edit. For example. Take a team like Dallas, if it were on his list of course. That's a great fit for him. The face of that franchise are Benn and Seguin. Nash can slide in like Spezza nd play his game. On the flip side. The Stars have a boatload of very good prospects.

Am I the only one who thinks we should stop trying to get a first round pick or two second round picks for Talbot. The obvious move to me is trading Talbot for a second round pick and insisting Tanner Glass be part of the deal. Unless there's something bigger brewing with Talbot and some others being worked on, lets use this trade as a way to dump salary.

Tanner Glass had a good playoff, and while I still would prefer that he wasn't making $1.5 million a year for the next two years, that contract isn't bad enough to take less in a Cam trade just to get rid of it. The Rangers have given up a lot of picks the last couple of years, and this is an opportunity to re-stock.

Hell, I even think Tanner Glass is tradeable. Not for much, but I think you could find a taker willing to give you a couple rolls of hockey tape.

Maybe at the deadline ... for Duclair ... after their minor league affiliate benches him for not putting in an effort.

The Rangers have four solid offers for Cam Talbot
June 25th, 2015 4:35 pm

TalbotThe Rangers have “four solid offers” for Cam Talbot according to Darren Dreger. (Nichols)

He said that the Oilers, Stars, Sabres and Sharks have all made offers for Talbot. (Nichols)

Dreger said, “Now, the equivalent of a first round draft pick without being a first round draft pick. So maybe two second round draft picks or a second round draft pick and a prospect included.” (Nichols)

That's insane. ROR apparently wants a big contract too. $60M over 8 years

Window for potential UFAs to start talking to teams opened today. Soderberg may have spoken to Avs, so wheels could be in motion on a deal.

Which would mean that ROR is going to be dealt by tomorrow most likely.

I still don't know they Devils don't try to swap the 6th, one of their young NHL d-men and a lesser asset for ROR and the 10th. They still be in a position to get a good forward at 10.

Would any of you guys take Stoll if he cleaned up his act?

Or would he be Kevin Stevens 2.0?

No way. To use this analogy. A-rod was and has always been a PED user. He hung out a lot with Cano and Mleky Cabrera when they were both Yankees. Cabrera busted for PEDs and Cano has already started to decliine.

Would you want Stoll getting one of Kreider or Miller hooked on the nose candy? The only reason I'd like Stoll, more Erin Andrews at MSG.

The coke poop really doesn't bother me. Look at Patty Kane. But I don't want Stoll because he'd block a center in the system already. Stepan, Brassard, Hayes, Miller, Lindberg, and Moore are all natural centers.

My dream summer would be Nash dealt for a bunch or stuff and sign Justin Williams. Keep/sign hags, Stepan, Klein, miller, fast, etc . I don't even need to have Staal

My dream is trade Nash to St Louis for Jaden Schwartz and use that additional 5 million on our RFAs

Patrick Kane is building himself a potential HHOF career. Jarret Stoll is not. You can snort your face off if you can put up 65-95 points a year.

Didn't It say somewhere the wings were hot for him? Tatar and Nyquist would be nice fits, maybe they would take Klein if Nash isn't enough. Those two had great years

I do Nash to Dallas for one of Garbutt/Roussel, one of Dallas' prospect like Richardinson, Paul, Honka, etc and a top 60 pick.
