Adidas owns CCM hockey...adidas sold one soccer cleat that outsold the entire Reebok hockey lines last year...UA wouldn't even attempt it

Never know they dipped into golf why not hockey. The movement from Lax to hockey equipment isn't that far off

Easton is doing just great buddy... lol.

Easton owns Riddell who provides millions on millions of football helmets around the world every year.

- JVince11

Easton hockey is NOT doing great. They are doing great in other sports but not hockey.

I run the Pro Shop down here as part of my duties. I know first hand how bad their numbers are. I would look for them to pull out of the hockey world in less than 10 years unless they just go back to making sticks and only sticks.

Like hey dude why not have some money on the table for Bennett Monahan and Gaudrau
- hubie

Well.. Gio has another year at 4M on his contract.... guys like David Jones and Hudler who I don't see them resigning will come off after this season and are responsible for 8M in cap hits. Hiller is off after this year at 4.5M too.

They are more than fine with their setup AND they have 20M in cap space as they sit.

Because in the hockey world 2 companies own 85% of the market

In golf you have Nike, Ping, Titleist, Taylor Made, Adams, Cleveland etc.

Plus they only do apparel in golf not equipment.

They have a few times

Bauer and CCM wouldn't waste their time buying the hockey division of Easton because the amount of testing and product knowledge they already have is destroying Easton

I can witness that history on TV. Don't get me wrong, I'm super excited about Eichel, but I don't need to spend a ton of money to go watch him get picked to prove it.

I don't have cable and I'm pissed NBC sports isn't covering rounds 2-7. They could at least do the 2nd round. But NHL network is doing the last six rounds. I know with NBC sports you can do a live stream on your computer but I don't think you can with NHL network unless you pay for the streaming service.

They won't. The hockey world isn't a big enough market world wide for them to get involved with anyway.

Listening to NY sports radio & word there is NYR trying to get Oilers or Sabres to give up 1st-rounder for Talbot, but neither is budging.

good lord... if either of us fall for it, we should all just hang it up for the day.

If possible wait to move 31 until Saturday.

-Gives teams a night to adjust and organize a deal for a player that may have slipped
-Maybes there's a player TM likes
-Im OK with lack for 31 but there's no harm in waiting until all the chips fall

- yen6d1

I don't think the Sabres will end up moving 31
Chances are, there will be a guy or 2 available that the Sabres have ranked in the mid-late teens...
That will be very hard for a "scout" like Murray to pass up

I'll be super busy Saturday morning, so I'll just have to deal with the crappy WGR coverage during the day.

OMG I was just having a conversation with one of our coaches here about Titan. He grew up in Sweden and played for their national team in the late 80's early 90's and he grew up playing with Titan.

I was a Branches guy personally.

Just in case anyone else needs to know why offer sheets can be awful...

Shea Weber is making an actual salary of 14M this season plus a 13M signing bonus all thanks to that jackass in Philly.

I try to come and go as NHL news and rumors stir louder.

My little tank is 2 years old and will eat like 3 hot dogs for dinner with a yogurt and an apple sauce while my daughter who is 6 can kill 4 Eggo waffles per meal at breakfast. it is expensive when my kids have my Yeti genes in them.

I don't know if it will be different this time as I forgot the process but correct me if I'm wrong but if there's an expansion team doesn't the team get to pick one RFA from each team to form their team? Or something similar to that.

Pegula paid Myers $10 million for a year...it's not the end of the world. It's the cap hit that is important especially when you have an owner with deep pockets and isn't afraid to write a check.

I mainly only care about first two rounds as that is where the Sabres will be doing the most wheeling and dealing. I wish NBC sports took more initiative to give full coverage of things like the NHL draft..

There is a protection list if I remember correctly. With the new CBA and salary cap, one would think there would be different rules now.
