Big deal, you still get a point for losing, so teams are still going to play "not to lose" in the final five minutes of a tie game to assure a guaranteed point. Sure 3 on 3 may result in less shootouts, but a point is a point. Get rid of loser points and pretty much any OT works just fine, b/c no one gets a free point |
