Bringing in a Vrbata would bolster the top six, while finding adequate bottom six production can be had at value. Santorelli is an option at 3rd line center, he will likely cost around 2mill. Him with Kunitz/Duper and Bennett is a (in theory) productive third line.

You then lose the 7 mill in Santorelli and Vrbata for the ufa class of the next season, which is huge right now. The hope is that Sundqvist and Kapanen are ready for the 16-17 season to take away two spots.
