I really don't feel like rehashing ideas from the last few weeks... we've spitballed over a dozen concepts that aren't completely insane. |

Beauchemin is another guy I like as well. I don't mind the age, he plays a solid game and can chew up minutes. He'd be excellent for the young guys to learn from. Note, in my previous post(s) I forgot about Cole who I think should be retained to play #6. I am OK with trading Scuderi (if he waives/etc), but I think buying him out doesn't make cap sense.
Letang - Maatta
Pouliot - Beauchemin/Hejda/Oduya/Jackman
Demoulin - Cole
Scuderi (if he can be dealt, then Chorney) - mventres
His play hasn't declined to date that much. My fear is you give him two year, $3.5 million per at the age of 35 and all the sudden we are carrying not one guy that is old and deteriorated, but two. I like Beauchemin, but there are concerns. I think Pouliot could learn thing or two from him. |

Holy crap?! For some coke? I thought in Cali that meant community service, like teaching kids to surf or something? |

They don't need a center ... they have tons of them..
Kopitar, Carter, Toffoli, Lewis, Nolan, Shore can all play center.

Not going to read thru all the messages but I'd be interested in seeing where RW pulled this stat from. - nurk
it's been out there for a while because it's true. I went back and did the math using the Cap Central part of this website when you could look at salaries/cap hits in past years. That stat is 100% true. |

Just saw this online
Scuderi for mike Richards and LA retains 2.3 mil
Would you do it?
Would you do it if you send sutter somewhere for a pick and prospect?

You would be spending 3.45 per year for the next five on a crappy player at the age of 30. Mike Richards is worthless.
At least Scuderi is off the books in two years. Strange as it sounds, I pass. Richards would frustrate most of us. He is worse than Sutter. |

What might a possible Sharp trade to PIT look like? Throw some names out there that are available. - SUDA88
Most fans here don't want Sharp. We've been dealing with paying for several declining players his age, we don't want another. |
