I wouldn't overpay for Hamhuis. I just don't feel comfortable with Dillon and Mueller behind Vlasic. I want Mueller to have a season to learn in AHL, ideally. And Burns struggled with building chemistry with partners last season. He showed he played well with Hamhuis at the worlds.

Okposo is an ideal fit for our top six. Perfect age at 27. Speed, size and grit. He'd be worth a call.

So, if Yandle isn't likely to be traded, I don't want anyone (Klein) coming back with Talbot. I don't want Dion at all. I'd be interested in Hamhuis. Rumor is that he's available and he had some great chemistry with Burns at the Worlds. I don't think he would cost that much as far as compensation, but what do I know. And I really think we should shoot for Okposo. That guy would be awesome in our top 6!

-Talbot for COL's '16 2nd? I would do this plus Goodrow
-Hamhuis for a package of picks? Bottom pair guy I think. Not sure of his value.

I'd only trade down if Provorov & Werenski's off the board...then yeah definitely think about moving back a few spots we could get a hefty return on some picks with a move like that.

Well not really lately though, as far as 1st rders go......we've been taking guys from juniors & international with Hertl. The high USHL/College player we took was Nieto inthe 2nd rd 2011.

In my opinion he looks like a smaller Marleau. I think Connor would be a top line winger who can be a good wing on a pp unit and pker. I still prefer Barzal if we go forward because i think he is an elite playmaker who could be the puck distributor on the pp once thornton is gone. He also has a great wrist shot too.

Yeah they could also trade back too, they're in a prime position for those teams that would love to jump up for Provorov.

It's all about the draft right now.........it's very exciting time, i think there's gunna be alot of trades going down at the draft.

But the draft is happening the soonest so it's the most important thing!
