I said don't normally I'm not afraid to be torn apart by statements made. You should know that from the hotstove 39.

Rumor has it two 2nds would do it for Talbot. If thats the cost the Sharks can do so much better. If thats the cost I would rather keep Nemo

Rangers already turned down two 2nd rders for Talbot.

In regard to Patrick Sharp:

"However, rumblings out of Chicago have the asking price for Sharp at a first-round pick, a top prospect, and an NHL forward on an entry-level contract. That's best described as absurd. Sharp is a proven winner, but he's 33 and coming off a season that saw him limited by injuries to 68 games, where in he produced 16 goals and 27 assists for 43 points. He'd been close to a point-per-game player in three of the previous four seasons." - Bleacher Report http://bleacherreport.com...heading-toward-2015-draft

Yeah, I don't think I can come anywhere close to that asking price ESPECIALLY because they want the other team to take his salary too. I'd rather get Frolik or Beleskey personally

You're not the only one Tim! Your Constituents are definitely pro-Dillon. I catch flak when I mention my feelings about Dillon. Personally, I keep hoping I'll wake up to a Dillon for Hamhuis package to upgrade our left side. Vlasic, Hamhuis, Mueller is a very strong left side.

But the right side is the more pressing need, but i know you're not a Dillon fan.

Hamhuis though is a 32 going on 33 & a soon to be ufa, not a deal i'd be looking at.

he might be 32 going on 33, but he's damn good. We have Burns and Braun on the right side. It's already better than our left side. Trade for hamhuis, and sign a right defenseman UFA (Waiting for a Mike Green plug) and you have a stanley cup level defense. Right?

Rather just keep Dillon, i'm not as high on Hamhuis like you are.

Speaking of defensemen. Pretty good article on the Devils site.

http://www.inlouwetrust.c...e-range-of-ufa-defensemen

It's geared towards the devils obviously, but lots of good insights. Careful there are a million links from the article you could get lost in it lol!

We had that in one of our hockey games. We only had one goalie, and fighting wasn't allowed in that league. So, he got in a fight and they kicked him out. So, we used defensemen to block the puck....needless to say...we lost 10-2 that game.

why aren't the sharks bringing back Niemi? I'd be interested to get a Sharks perspective on him.....how he played, how you'll think he'll do going forward
- AlfieisKing

Niemi sucks at any shot 18" above the ice. Great down low, but horrid at any high shot. Especially cross ice at weird angles. He also handles the puck like a live grenade, often just tossing it right to the opposition.

And he let's in backbreaking softies ALL THE TIME. We starter calling them "Softiemi's" in game chat.
