Ducks have no plans to trade goalie -Frederik Andersen or John Gibson - unless someone comes in with proverbial "knock the socks off" offer.

And there it is.

We both agree on that. My hunch is that is who Murray will get.

That's what i'm afraid of

I can't see why they would move Gibson, no reason to.

I would hate to get into a bidding war, you'd overpay and I would steer away from that. Reasonably, I would say picks and a B prospect but don't know what Anaheim needs. Maybe 31 this year and our 2nd in '16?
- mhp

Agreed, Al.

Overpaying for a guy who has 26 games of NHL experience can't be a smart idea.

I wonder if Sabres brass ventures here for giggles .

On a goalie? I would sign one on the cheap and see what Johnson has. He played pretty decent a season ago.

51 for Lehner would be my offer.
- mhp

Is he worth even that much. He is tainted. Head issues. I think if we take a chance on him it is for crap.

That was for Boston though.

I would like us to take a shot at ramo, Lindback and nuevirth. If we can't get one of them kick the tires on lack.

I'd be cool with Lack. I'd be okay with Talbot. Ramo sure why not. Honestly I don't think we know enough about any of them to know at all. At least I don't. They all sound great one day then you all scare me off from them the next.

Johnson is making 1.3m I would rather try lindback instead of Hackett. He had his chance and didn't impress me.

Im not sure there's anyone worth trading for. is lack that much better than the free agent options that we should move a 2nd rounder for him?

We have a goalie coach. Besides the players wouldn't understand him.

I'll take Ramo or Lack, won't cost a lot to get. Let other teams fight it out for over hyped Talbot. Gibson will cost and i'm not sold on Jones. I also have no problem with Neuvirth and Lindback either as 1 and 2.
- SABRES 89

The only one of those goalies I think could be a true #1 is Gibson
All the others are average, at best

Gibson could be very good.
I hope we get him if the price isn't crazy
I'd be willing to trade a few prospects from a group of Carrier, Hurley, Karabacek & Cornel

With all the teams in Cap trouble...

If I were Murray if be on the phone with every team asking what bad contract I'd have to take from them, and demand their 1st round pick to do so
Send them back a prospect that Murray isn't high on

Why pick 21 is so valuable and GM's should hold on to their 1st round picks:

‏@NHLtoSeattle
NHL 1st Round Draft Picks accounted for 39% of "games played" and 47% of goals scored last season.

Anyone else think the Sabres will hold onto thier own 1st, 2nd, & 3rd round picks in next year's draft [2016]. in case they decide they want to tender one of the top RFA [Tarasenko, Toffoli, etc.] an offer sheet? The second they trade one of thier own picks in the 1st, 2nd, &/or 3rd rounds of 2016 draft you can cross offering sheets off the Sabres agenda for this summer.

Just wondered what everyone thought.

Is it better to keep those picks in hopes that they can sign a top RFA to an offer sheet without the other team matching or using those picks in trade for someone like O'Reilly, Okposo, or 'Fill in the Blank'?

How much does Crawford make?
Or Bishop?
Or any quality starter?

The only way u get a reasonably cheap "GOOD" starter is if u draft them & they perform well when they're young
But even then, they eventually get paid
That's just how much goalies cost now a days

No way we get Tarasenko or Saad so people need to let that go, the Kings won't let Toffoli go either.

My preference

1. Dubnyk
2. Trade for Lack
3. sign Neuvirth

What Murray will do

1. Trade for Talbot
2. Trade for Lehner
3. Sign Neuvirth
