You wouldn't move Grigerenko for Sharp?!?!! I'd do that in a heartbeat.. At our best he signs offer sheet and plays in AHL. Most likely he goes to KHL. I'd rather trade him now for an established top six winger if that was even a possibility.

Could TM's offer to Grigorenko possibly be a short term, 2-way deal on the surprisingly high side? Would it allow him to clear waivers if the price tag was something like 2 years at $2.5 mil. Not long enough or high enough to be ridiculous but also long enough to protect him from being snatched up while he gets the opportunity to prove to us if he belongs here long term.. Just a thought but maybe I'm crazy to think this

Hard to say now Nash, Kessel those guys will be hard to trade for IMO due to the no trades they have and also both of there teams thinking they are worth the " world". ROR is another " toss up " piece so to be honest as of now I don't know.

I like Sharp ok, but at this point he'd fill the same role for us that Gionta already does.
If the Sabres really feel the need to bring in another Vet for leadership, there's gotta be someone we can sign that's a UFA.
I also doubt he'd waive to come here.
I think NYi would be a nice fit
