Beleskey is a top 6 guy - no doubt 2nd line - see his tip in game 7 loss to hawks - guy has skill and is a scrapper - plus hard nosed, Clarkson comparison is horrid - Matt at 4yrs 3.5 is a steal which I think he would take to go to a contending team or stay in Ana - he is at 1.35 now - 2 mill raise per yr should get it done - 27 yrs old - gives him one more nice chance at 31 for another deal -

Price is to high for Kessel and Leafs won't budge this early. It'd be pretty stupid on their part. Already been reported yesterday the price is waaaaaay to high and the Leafs aren't taking back enough contract. That's not going to change in one friggin day.
