isn't it public knowledge they want a 2 or 3rd round pick, so that would be overpayment

Just seems to me like hes bringing in all these scrubs that he used to coach with the jets. Just blah that wont improve the team. We have 2 FB and like 1000 TE in camp

Well it's not like the free agent crop has starters in it. Evan Mathis, a guard, a great but old guard, is one of if not the only starting caliber player in FA right now. The Bills don't have a ton of cap to play with so if they felt John Miller could stay as a backup for a year or two and improve the team that way, fine, bring him in for a year or two. But he has a lot of options and I'm not sure the Bills see him as a vital pick up.

We need quality OTs. Badly. I think we're pretty good at guard. Only way we get quality OTs is day 1 of FA and the draft. And not (frank)ing up the draft like we did with Kuondjo

Well it depends on what the young D is. Ben Hutton might be a worthy snag.

I'd do Lack + 114 for 51 + Grigorenko or Lack + Hutton for 31 + Grigo

True, I want no part of Mathis he seems like another Peters who would be bad for the team. MIller sounds like hes doing well. The left side is fine but that right side may be a bit weak.

Kuandjo at best is a project RT who could ideally develop into a starter. There's no way he should be starting this season on an even average OL. I'm disappointed the position was not addressed. I see why we picked Darby, but I'd much rather have picked Jake Fisher.

And if you've been following Sal's or Joe B's reports... the OL is being shredded by the DL. As it should be, but you'd like to not read words like "destroying" or "obliterating"

Encouraging for one side of the ball at least.

I gelt the same way on draft day. PLus Fisher would be suited for Romans offense. There were a handful of guys Id rather have at that point then going with Darby who wasn't ranked that highly

The Bills are expected to sign free agent OT Wayne Hunter.

Hunter and coach Rex Ryan have a long history, and Ryan allegedly went as far as getting a Hawaiian tattoo to convince Hunter to sign with the Jets back in 2008. The Bills will be in trouble if Hunter makes the team and has to play.

Also KHL reportedly expanding to China.

Probably either make or break that league.

Seems odd that they'd be expanding when half the teams had difficulty paying their players last year.

I just don't see Lack as a long term option, he's to inconsistent and I'm not sure that changes. Not sure I give 31 up for him as I think you could do just as well signing a FA short term.

Would the Chinese money be more valuable so those teams would be healthier? I have no clue but a guess, like if they profit share( which I doubt they do)

If they market this right and the investors are solid this could be a huge win for them

I think there's an untapped market in and around the far east, one of the reasons i really hope the nhl sends its players to south korea.

Trump said China's currency is devalued on purpose so they get richer from us as we payback the "loans"

That's not a new theory. Obama accused the Chinese of doing the same thing a few years ago. There's probably at least some truth to it.

JJ, Chicago HB writer, took a shot at our man Eichel on his blog. Read it if you care.

I feel he has a presence to come in and take over and show that he is the best. An Athlete that he reminds me of in other sports: Larry Bird. Ability to take over a game with a drop of a hat.
