Maybe he thought he was until Hexy told him don't let the door hit your ass on the way out.

I am kind of liking this whole new change.

Maybe the Phillies could learn this.

No, the Flyers hoped he'd stay in some capacity.

And, just because I haven't done one of these in a while, here are my top 10 reasons why I hate the NY Rangers!!

1. Listening to Brad Park constantly whine about the Flyers like a little female dog in the mid 70's

2. Eddie Johnstone's face

3. The NY fans who held up signs saying "Buy a porsche, Hextall"

4. Listening to Phil Esposito whine about the Flyers in the 80s like a big nosed piece of poop.

5. TOMAS (frank)ING SANDSTROM

6. The won their (frank)ing cup in 94 with a goalie from the Philly area. Bite me, Richter.

7. Their poopty and annoying goal song.

8. TOMAS (frank)ING SANDSTROM, yeah I know, but I just hate that piece of monkey crap that (frank)ing much!!

9. That they had to basically buy the Edmonton Oilers to finally win a damn Cup and rob us of being able to incessantly chant 1940!

10. They are from New York and their fans are complete and total douchebags.

I don't think Dineen is leaving unless it's for a head coaching job.

What about Scott Stevens?

If he's gonna beat a path back to the head coach's office on his reputation as a teacher, he sure picked the right place to see a lot of HQ kids come through.

That was actually one of Berube and Hextall's gripes with Vinny, at least after the 2013-14 season. He is always in excellent upper-body shape but the complaint was a lack of skating conditioning during the offseason.
- bmeltzer

The question would be age, vs ability to increase his skating mobility.

About as humorous as the two Rangers fans who wore tattered #31 Flyers jerseys with "Dead" on nameplate instead of Lindbergh when the Flyers made first trip to MSG. At least the majority of the crowd had enough class to give Flyers a polite ovation in honor of their ongoing mourning when they stepped out for warmups.

Yeah, I remember seeing the guy with the Porsche sign on TV and thinking to myself that it's a good thing I'm not there because that murder charge would have been a tough one to beat.
