We're all pretty proud of the resurgence Buffalo is showing. It's great to see the city we love (and if you do love it, there's no way you didn't grow up here) begin to rise again.

To effect the fortunes of not only our HOCKEY Franchise, our FOOTBALL Franchise, but also the physical makeup of our city.

Its simply astounding! Would make an awesome 30in30 show, starting with the day he cried introducing Gilbert his childhood hero, and ending with Terry, Kim, his Family Holding the STANLEY CUP with his team and his town!

Been in Chicagoland (65 miles West of Chicago) for 8 years and getting closer to finishing a program at a university that's a pain in my arse and plan on moving back to Buffalo if there are positions for me.

That would be awesome. I think what happened in Boston may happen in Buffalo - no championships for generations then a handful of ones (maybe the Sabres win the cup the same year the Bills win the Superbowl??

I've finished my Masters and I'm starting in the fall on my Doctorate, Educational Reform.....Curriculum Developed based upon the needs of indivdual disctricts, we've tried the one size fits all, and no matter how hard you try to fit that round peg into the square hole it just won't fit!

P.S. I use my Hockey Buzz Season Pass for my scoring touch!

Cool, I have two master's degrees I received back in Buffalo while working full time and paid for by my employer my doctorate is in education as well and I'm writing the 4th of 5 chapters of my dissertation. I have a broad background in Adult Ed, Higher Ed, Comparative Ed, I currently work in Literacy focusing on English Language Learners because my dissertation focuses on Undocumented Latino students. Hockeybuzz is often my escape from writing, good luck!

I wonder what is the perspective/experience you get from chatting with almost all of the opposite sex. I'm trying to project myself going to chat with 99.9 all females without me starting to hit on some.

IMO respect is given, and trust is earned.... I.E...if your in a new town, and a mechanic tells you your brakes are bad, you give him respect and allow the repair...if afterwards you see the brake pads are still good, you know you got (frank)ed...however if you see they are thin as a penny he's begun to earn your trust.
Sorry for the somewhat feeble example but I'm tired and cant come up with a better one
