He missed the puck I doubt that was intentional - MikeBabcock

No doubt this blog took a lot of work, but I got thru the first couple of years and lost interest. |

Interesting read. Seeing all the late round gems, and high pick so-so players just goes to show how difficult it is to predict how these kids will progress. |

Even more, when you consider he was drafted in his second year of eligibility. Even the red wings passed on him the entire draft the year before!! |

Dude bill (frank)ing rocks. I'd say he's easily the BEST writer on this site. John jaekel is good, Michael stuart is good, I like the bruins' writer, but by far, Bill is the best on this site. His structure, his content, his objectivity & the fact he NEVER sounds like a homer is great.
BiggE I gotta tell ya, I was out at a nice dinner w/ parents, grandparents, gf & kid, at a nice nice restaurant, I had a few Makers Marks, and they were (frank)ing delicious. I ordered one, it was great. I ordered 2 it was great. I ordered 3 it was (frank)ing fantastic.

Makers on the rocks is a fine sipper. Personally I prefer 3 rocks and 3 fingers |

Not necessarily true.... every team had to have all their picks for that to happen....
Symantics I know, but it is actually probably more accurate... in a roundabout way...
But I'm just beating around the bush... haha |

Bill covers the Flyers better than anyone since Jay Greenberg worked the beat in the 80s |

People always think size is a skill when it's just an attribute. Wonder how many greats get looked over because they are 5'10 and not 6'4?Or how many got drafted higher because they were bigger and they never panned out? |

The pool was so deep that the likes of Tim Kerr and Dino Ciccarelli went unselected in the Draft and ending up signing their first NHL contracts as rookie free agents.
To provide further context as to how outlandish it is that Ciccarelli and Kerr went undrafted, that's over 900 NHL goals that went undrafted with those two players. |
