still way better than above.

Can someone explain to me why Gardiner keeps getting mentioned as some great trading piece we have? The article suggests he could be the key to a deal... am I the only one who thinks he sucks? He was awful last year, even beyond awful. I don't care about his stats, he just sucked.... Do the Ave management not watch hockey that they would even consider taking him for ROR? Is 4 million plus good for a defensemen who can't defend?

Yes but according to James Tanner Crosby might not even be 4x the player Colton Orr is.

Either way, the margins for being an NHL player are so small that the difference between even Colton Orr and Sydney Crosby might not be 4X.
