Comparing RoR to Toews, Kane, and Kessels deals makes sense, as these deals were signed under the same CBA conditions. Crosbys was not.

If phaneuf gets 7million over a year ago, he should get 8million+.
ROR at 7million is market value, Phaneuf should be in same salary range as Petry, Niskanen etc.
