They don't need McJesus since they have another 1st overall in RNH to be the god at C. They get the American Crosby in his prime. They get a generational talent in Gards. They get one of the best D in the league in Phaneuf. Plus they get to unload Eberle for cap relief.

Personally I think Toronto's overpaying but meh, I MIGHT do it. Maybe.

Pulling for Tampa, but I believe the Hawks come back and take it.

I'm going to hold out hope that the Leafs pull off the trade to grab another top 7 pick and select Marner + one of the top 3 D.

Wouldn't surprise me to see both in the lineup, if the offers are low balling, keep them for the deadline. Kessel likely gets easier to trade next summer (unless he poops the bed again this year).
