I prefer to think of it as aged natural grape juice.

Just bursting with nutrients.

or right..my bad

worth a read for sure
Marner has the extra caresi factor..not afraid to mix it up ..which I think fans will like and Hunter/Shanny

He plays bigger than his size and is not afraid to get involved in traffic or battle for pucks. He possesses some of the quickest hands in this year’s draft class; love his hockey smarts and where to go with the puck.

I think we can all agree that is something the leafs can use

What changed your mind?

It's not like either played hockey since last we spoke of this.

I'm still going Hanifin, Strome, Marner.

Honestly, if Strome goes 3, I've heard the Leafs will NOT take Marner or Hanifin at 4. Instead, watch for Barzal or Provorov.

I love how everyone is so stoked on this upcoming draft and anyone we can get for our core that we have completely alleviated any sort of pressure or impatience we may have had towards guys like Nylander.

Like when Willy was drafted, I felt the same about Rielly. All of a sudden all the weight of expectations and whatnot that we traditionally have crushed our prospects under was off those guys as we looked ahead.

Maybe we just never drafted or developed well enough to have that circumstance before, who knows.

But it's funny because a couple of years ago people viewed Kadri and Gardiner the way that we (now) view Rielly and Nylander, more or less. Therefore, all expectations and weight is gone from those two (hell most want to trade them as part of the fire sale), when in reality, both are only 24 and aren't done getting better, IMO (Look at Hedman).

Hopefully we can continue to constantly look ahead and let these guys develop at their own pace without getting all bent out of shape when they aren't game breakers by age 20
