I really want them to (frank)ing unload. There are like 5 players on this team who I envision being with the team long term.
- PhillySportsGuy

I'm with you, but not really getting my hopes up. Maybe at next years deadline though

Neither do I. It's painful. That's another reason id like to hang on to him unless they are out of the picture around deadline time.
- funmaster18

Fair. He is their best dman right now. If they moved him for a draft pick, could be looking at a top 10 pick again next year, although we don't know what Hextall would do with that cap space.

Is the Tampa backup that bad? Bishop is visibly hurt and slow to get up nearly every time he goes down into the butterfly.

If they go into the season with 9 defenseman or however many are under contract, I'm going to be pissed

They'll move a dman or 2 this summer and also find some way to get VLC off the roster, but thats likely it.

Maybe someone read my posts about banning sliding along the ice

Really I'm glad their looking at addressing this. I don't have any interest in skaters going the lengths they are blocking shots. Let's get back to letting the goalies stop the shots

If the deal is right, I won't be upset to see him go. I just really don't want to go through last year again. Hopefully hakstol makes this season interesting, even if they miss the playoffs again.
