There have been additions to it. And again, they did a pretty solid job last season in finding skill throughout. Not a single "grinder" taken, unless you count Fazleev, and he's not a Goulbourne type at all.

ok ive done so e thinking and would be ok if they took rantanen or zacha for a forward at that spot. been thinking and id prefer to stay away from crouse. don't want a guy that needs a playmaker that badly.

I think Andrew Ladd is a very underrated player in this league. He might not make players around him better but his leadership abilities are top notch and I think you need an Andrew Ladd on every team to win a Cup.

Then again, so did Taylor Pyatt, Raffi Torres and Chad Kilger.

I'm saying I can do as well watching clips, thinking about a strategy, and reading reports. I would trust Jsaq, OB and Tomahawk, to name three, to also have a 10-year list, that's a key, that would yield as many good picks as a team.

What I'm really saying is the real money for a GM is not what they can do in the 1st round picking off their board. It's deciding on a strategy - trading up or down, building a roster, signing or not signing players, trading picks for players, drafting after the 1st round.

I'm not saying I could do any of that. I'm not saying I'm qualified to be a GM. I'm saying I could pick as well as many teams could with publicly available information.

I see a lot of notes about devils or Carolina taking provorov. Giving both organizations depth at d I find it unlikely. Both teams are in horrendous shape offensively worse than the flyers. However I've heard a lot that provorov is blue jackets target and they are fighting to move up to get him. Toronto said they'd move back as did Carolina. I think you could see Columbus hop up and claim provorov. At that time you could see strome or marner or even hanifin fall. I think somebody is going to go off the beaten track with their pick probably devils if I had to guess. We will snatch up a surprising guy who fell and be ecstatic.

No I was talking about sometimes- when I click to get to the comments, when the comments page loads, the 2 or 3 ads that are on the page normally, are taking up 1/2 of the comments section so I can't read what everyone is commenting about. Usually if I exit my browser and go back to HB like 4 or 5 times it goes away, but just kind of annoying.

That's kind of what I was thinking regarding crouse. A guy who is that dependent on a playmaker may not be the best option with that high of a draft pick. Especially when there are other players who are not that dependent. That being said.... we do have a perfect slot for a power forward who is dependent on a playmaker.... and it's an even better slot because the two other linemates are world class playmakers. The way I see it, it's a win win.
