Morning Doc.

I'm wondering what it would take to get Eichel out of Buffalo.

Tough crowd in here, I'm pitching a fair deal...

- Byfuglien Ate Me

After the last 2 seasons there is no chance at getting him out of Buffalo.

If Shanny went to Murray it would be something crazy like #4 Kessel and next years 1st for Eichel.

Even then I wouldn't want to do it.

Teemu Pulkkinen says Hi.

Was projected to go top 5, he hurts a knee and goes in the 4th round.

- dadeadhead

Where you seeing that. When you look at his draft years rankings pre and midseason his draft year the highest I found him was the 17 best EUROPEAN skater. He was no where near the top five. When scouts think a guy is elite like you think kylington is he shouldn't be falling out of the first round. He has big bust potential. I'm not the only one thinking it

Prior to the season he was talked about as top 5.

He fudged up his knee and dropped like a 2 dollar whore.

The knee injury scared teams away because they thought he'd lose his speed.

I wanted the Sabres to draft him and as soon as Detroit took him I posted on here there goes the steal of the draft. The clown can back me up on this one.

Right because losing on purpose and doing it right is one thing, its really hard to attempt to be good and still suck...

The Oilers finally did something right this offseason. Chirelli and MacLean would have done wonders to that team without McDavid. With him, they should finally build something great.

I'm not doubting you but no ranking sites had him near the top ten preseason or midseason. Not to mention he's 23 years old and only has 5 career NHL goals. he does look like he could be good but even Luke Adam tore up the AHL. If he was elite and fell because of an injury 5 years ago he should be doing more by now. All the other guys in the top 5 of that draft have been in the NHL and some are the best scorers in the league.

If your happy using a 1st on kylington and him following pulkinenn's career path that is a waste of a 1st. That's a five year wait for kylington to even make the NHL. That's not that exciting in a draft that is supposed to be loaded.

Lol...this the arguement for intentional tanking? I'm convinced. Buffalo is way better.

So because the Sabres are better at sucking they are in fact better than the Oilers?

When management puts together a team to pretty much fail why would any rational fan expect to win?

When the Oilers management thought they would be good and ended up still being a lottery team?

Please.

The Oilers past management where so dysfunctional it was entertaining to watch. Now if the Sabres still suck in 2 years you can come rub it in my face all you want. But for the last 6 years the Oilers have been the most laughable franchise in hockey.

He plays for Detroit and that is how they bring their players along.

He will be a full time NHLer from this point forward.

It was during the 08/09 season the year prior to his draft year that he was talked about as a top 5 guy. He blows his knee in the offseason (if memory serves me) and drops. I wanna say it was McKenzie that talked about it during the draft that he has elite talent and was projected to go top 5 until the injury.

Using 21 or 31 on a guy with his talent is worth the risk. Any guy taken there is 4 years away from NHL play anyways.

Disagree completely . Mac T did an incomplete job. Never lost a trade, just didn't fill all the holes.

Sure an injury can make a guy drop, but not the elite guys which was my point. pulkinenn was not a top 5 talent. Detroit or not if he was a top 5 talent he would be in the NHL producing already. His knee injury is healed. The top five of hall, seguin, gudbranson, Ryan johansenn are elite players.

Kylington like pulkinnens talent is not top 5 that's why he and kylington will drop

I would say he didn't fill any of the holes. The Sabres are done with their tear down. The Oilers should have been 3 seasons ago.

If you're looking for me to make excuses for Steve Tambellini, ain't gonna happen. Let's see what actually happens with the Sabres in the next Few years. My prediction:
2016: Last
2017 : 25th
2018: 17th

Also, you're retarded if you think MacT didn't improve the roster.

So NOW Murray intentionally failed? I thought we were all sticking up for him because he tried his hardest to make us better?

Intentionally failing is what is going to make us better...

We've been over this.

Now it's time to see if his trades will bear any fruits. If not he won't have a job in about 2 years.

Oh c'mon now. Nobody trades their goalies that are playing well and for a player on LTIR when they are trying to win. Nobody believed that no matter how convinced Some Sabres fans were.

Might be unemployed sooner if he doesn't learn to shut his stupid looking mouth. You hear Eichel was " surprised" his quote that he made in a private conversation with Murray made the media?
