Hoping the Sabres keep 21 or move up...at 21 though, Roy would be a nice pick to build out the D prospect pool.

For instance, Crouse was very matter-of-fact when asked if there was any NHL player he patterned his game after.

“I like to play like a more skilled [Milan] Lucic. I do have that ability to play strong, play mean, play tough, but given the opportunity I can bury the puck like Rick Nash.”

Crouse clearly has a higher opinion of himself that his numbers do not back up

Most of the Sabres folks are good people, just fed up with witnessing poor hockey.


There's a few super special folks though, just as in many other fanbases.

For what it's worth, in my $0.02 Eichel is going to be a phenomenal player, perhaps one of the best US players of the last decade or so. I don;t think he'll be "generational" in the same way that Lemieux, Gretzky, Crosby were/are, but he'll be fantastic regardless. Buffalo fans will be happy to have him

Eichel doesn't need to be Gretzky or Crosby like some are comparing mcdavid to. If he turns into a modano, stamkos or Tavares, I'm going to be pretty happy. He doesn't need to be a top 3 player of all time. With the team and players being built around him He won't have to do everything. He will def raise eyebrows when he's drinking from the cup
