I thought about putting Larsson on the 4th line but he'll probably complain about his minutes. Not the best fit. He would seem more suited as a winger on the 3rd line.

For next season, at least at the start of the year I see our top 3 centers as Eichel, Girgs and a new guy (Soderberg). I just don't see Hodgson or Grigorenko here next year. And if you look to the future with Eichel and Reinhart as the top two, Grigorenko is the odd man out imo.

Grigorenko being the odd man out for the future makes sense
Also makes me think he'll be the 3rd center this year, and not bring in a guy like Soderberg
BC next year when Reinhart comes in, then we could trade Grigorenko
What would we do with Soderberg if we signed him once Reinhart is a regular here?
We are deep at center. I just don't see us bringing another one in.

I think Larsson starts on the 4th line & then will have 1st shot at the RW spot that will eventually vacated by Hodgson... Who I think will be here next year, but prob traded next offseason

Obv these are all just guesses on my part though

agreed if he was equivalent to the great 4th rd pick Tobias Rieder

or a 20 year old kid that will be a rookie. Sorry the 2014 class was the worst in 15 years. Outside of the first 3 offensive picks no one was projected to be a top 6 forward, and that is the time of the year when most over value everything.

Dal Colle wasn't projected to be a top 6 forward?

Larsson would not be the 4th line center unless they bring someone in or Reinhardt is up with the team.

Homer has said the organization is satisfied with the top 3 centers next year being Eichel, Girgensons, & Larsson, and I agree with that.

That makes sense, but...
Then u have Grigorenko on the 4th line which doesn't make sense
Or u trade him for pennies on the dollar, which also doesn't make sense

Optimally,
We'd trade both Grigorenko & Hodgson this offseason
But with the return we'd get being so low,
I think it makes sense to hang into them & build their value back up
Murray has spoken multiple times about more icetime for Hodgson
I guess we'll see about Grigorenko

I also found Bylsma's interview this morning interesting
Mad it sound like Eichel will not be playing top line minutes this year
So that top line might be
Kane-Girgensons-Ennis
Which could be a really nice 2way line for now

Maybe he meant top line?
His post didn't make much sense to me either

Jake Virtanen
Dylan Larkin

There were a few really good prospects.

I am a big Reinhart fan, but it won't surprise me one bit if he ends up the 4th or 5th best player in that draft

The answer for Grigorenko is easy: move him to wing, right wing specifically.

The five million dollar Elmer's representative fails to seal it on a golden opportunity in crunch time. Chicago goes the other way and scores.

No. They just know how to make big plays when it matters most. It's something this team needs, badly.

Ryan Callahan had a breakaway that could have put Tampa up 2-0. He missed.

Chicago came back and scored, and then scored again 1:58 later.
