He would have to fight off other RFAs in Folin/Olofsson/Palmquist for the 6th spot and thats if they dont resign any of their UFAs in Ballard or Leopold or go after one on the open market.

He would probably be in the AHL if he signed with the Wild based on their contract sitch

I have to think if he isn't going to sign with Arizona, he isn't interested in signing here. Giving Arizona the shaft combined with the list of teams that he is talking to tells me he's interested in winning now. As we saw with Mike Babcock, "but we're getting Jack Eichel" isn't a foolproof sales pitch.

You never really know what their motivations are. I'm sure as poop he's listening to any team offering him playing time immediately.

Columbus makes the playoffs easily, and probably contends for their division, if they didn't have an injury parade early to middle of last season. They're much farther along than the Sabres are. And I would have to imagine that just about every team on this list is willing to offer him immediate playing time. If undrafted FAs out of college can play that card and succeed more often than not, then a guy like Mike Reilly definitely can.
