this thursday i have a meeting regarding a settlement offer.

what do i need to know about something like that?

- kicksave856

how much you are willing to settle for is key

factor in the percentage the jew lawyer will take off the top

the settlement should take into account percentage of disability for your expected lifetime, which I think is 72... factor in future medical needs, your are not totally disabled so this might be a moot point and are currently employed

Often it is best to settle as a drawn out case will have private investigators following you

the insurance carrier does this all the time, they will gladly pay you to go away.

Best advice is listen to the lawyer, he is a guy that deals in this type of case all the time, it is to his advantage to get the highest settlement as he gets a taste of the final dollar... he also knows the bumholes he is dealing with

Also remember settlements such as this are NOT income taxable... you dont declare it as it is tax free

just remember I am a text or call away (This week is just prep week, November 1 I go into kill lockdown mode)

i feel like i shouldn't accept any settlement that doesn't leave me walking away with enough to pay for a corrective surgery by myself.

i shall keep these points in mind.

ty for your guidance.

will the corrective surgery actually help or hinder the situation?

these butchers tend to (frank) up more other peoples (frank) ups

a settlement could potentially include a corrective action with a diminished final payment settlement

surgery at your age is a risk
