Yeah food can get stuck in your lower esophagus. Usually you can get rid of it with diet coke and a little time but sometimes they have to go in there with one of those tubes down your throat.

waiting for tube time. but this is qc so I'll probably be here 5 more hours

i dont mean to sound insensitive to all of this but

i guarantee there is no lodged esophagus food

the original choking and subsequent coughing fit simply scratched your throat




the doctor will definitely do the tube thing anyway and say oh yeah we dislodged a big piece of food but will promptly turn around to the nurse a make a face of this nature:
