new best song in the history of music
- Crimsoninja

I read that track has been around for awhile now. Was a potential inclusion on Kid A/Hail to the Thief lp's.

This concerns me as it originates from prior to my radiohead cutoff point

Yep, still terrible, since 2000.
- aschuter82

can't see it here at work but i guess this is a new radiohead song?

i am somewhere in the middle of all of you guys and your (goddamned) extremes. i recognize that they are supremely talented musicians who write great songs but i also haven't really been hooked on them since ok computer and the accompanying b-sides.

they've turned into a bit of a niche thing but i wouldn't call it bad like some people do. it's still good stuff if you're into the bips and boops but i was more into the ripping-it-up guitars on the bends and the wacky feeling in my brain from ok computer.

I honestly dont know how you can so quickly judge any song, especially one from that band. Took me forever to fully get into In Rainbows and i now consider it one of my top 3 from them. All their albums are like that pretty much, imo

I'll be honest, I gave it about 15 seconds and said "yeah it's the same old poop".

I hate when anybody does that to a band I love, so it's mostly shtick. But I really haven't been able to get behind anything they've done since Kid A. Some of it I've given a bit more attention to than others. Either way I come to the same conclusion each time it seems.

Same, although I really liked and still do like Midnight Vultures. Sea Change came out and I liked it initially, then found it to be overly mopey...and everything after that just didn't do it for me. Despite a bunch of friends trying to convince me otherwise.

i have to give midnight vultures another chance. that's the one i remember being the most frustrated by because i wanted to like it more than i did.

also, (frank) when friends are trying to convince us that we like a record we don't like.

They're the worst.

Every time i get a text from someone telling me about a band or song, or somebody puts on a song and says "you'll like this" I immediately think "this isn't gonna be good, (frank) this person." It's terrible, but I can't help it.

I also quiet liked a lot of Morning Phase but, like Sea Change, it was a little TOO mellow at times.
