Kessel would have scored on the breakaway. I'm sure of it. |

Yes you do. Look at Kessel this year, teams scoring he's scoring, teams not he's not.
Let's compare Crosby and Toews when they play against each other and with each other. Toews significantly out plays, and out scores Crosby. Conclusion? Crosby's the greatest human being ever! - Newfinator81
Pens had a better year D wise and Crosby had better individual numbers |

The stats don't lie/ Patrick Kane outscores Toews.
And Kessel has regular scored a lot even when the team struggles. Crosby has the 5th best PPG in NHL history. Enough said. |

I didn't edit. I was typing it when they scored. - fidopro
Then how did I get to quote it beforehand...? |

Some dudes in the Ottawa thread were comparing Turris to Toews. I didn't even have the heart to ridicule them for it. |

Fleury was amazing this year. Not saying Toews is as good offensively, or better than Crosby. Just the gap is closer than better wished it was. Outside of the offense, Toews beats Crosby in everything....maybe not face-offs, it's cose either way. |

Top 5 PPG NHL history. And Crosby is doing it in the worst offensive era of the 5.
But a guy with 1 70 point seasons better. It's all because Crosby is on an "Offensive First" team... |

Like I said, early in their career, no question Crosby was better.

He also used to win the Art Ross by a wide margin, not anymore. He didn't win this year. He's game is slowing down. He's still very good, don't get me wrong, but his game is slowing down. |

h now it matters he didn't win by a wide margin? The fact is he did win the Hart and Art Ross and Toews wasn't close to him. |
