It's not that easy, the Hawks are a team with 2 giant contracts, and 4 or 5 guys making 5 plus mil.

It honestly might be better for them to trade Saad and get some assets back rather than just moving Sharp for a minimal return

Our target from the Hawks should be Shaw
I said this a few weeks ago
If u look at his production on their 4th line, he's a guy that could do a lot more given some decent icetime.
He's young, won't cost a lot (salary & trade), and versatile.
Also,
Anyone notice go he was the extra forward on the ice when they pulled the goalie? Not Richards or Sharp or Hossa
That says something IMO
Reminds me of how Laad was stuck behind talent & then blossomed once he went to Winnipeg & stepped into a bigger role

Generally speaking, when Chicago lets go of a guy, he becomes overpaid and underacheives. They know when to cut ties with guys, which is why they keep contending.
