It was posted to show that if the Sabres had the first pick in the draft, it was a great possibility that Reinhart isn't taken 1st because he was #3.

The draft happened last June, so they couldn't use rankings from the future.

Have you ever watched getzlaf, perry, sharp, franzen, or kreider play? Im not saying this to be a douche they're all big, bruising power forwards. Getzlaf and Perry are down right dirty sometimes.

So Reinhart is knocked down basically because he played juniors which was better for him then the great tank and because Bennet player 10 games in the playoffs basically. Unreal. Plus putting Ekblad behind him after how well he played really makes you question who runs this thing

Then, when you said that Reinhart will probably spend the season in AHL because he is not good enough I brought up that he is the CURRENT #1 ranked prospect after this past season where he had better stats than McDavid in Juniors and was the player of the Juniors tournament.

C'mon man... is it rocket science that they would have taken a forward or traded back one spot to a team wanting Ekblad first? No way they take Ekblad.

Hes getting knocked down because he couldn't handle the NHL game and that's why he went back to juniors.

When you have to bump up your weight to compete with men, it doesn't happen all at once and players usually have to adjust when they add muscle.

Not saying he isn't a great prospect in a few years, just not a 50 point guy next season.
