I'll admit, I was hoping he'd have a better showing in the WJC, but he more than held his own in the World Championship this month. Did this guy watch that tournament with his eyes closed? He was out there with Trevor Lewis for Christ sake and still managed 7 points in 10 games.

Well I got it straight from Garth so we know it's true.

He wasn't even getting consistent PP time. He made the most out of what he had to work with and didn't even remotely look out of place.

It doesn't take a hockey mind to really grasp the effect Eichel had on that team. Watch a few of his highlights and then grasp the fact he was on his first big ice and his first time against professionals and one if not the youngest guy on the ice. He's going to be astounding.
