I would think that if Bylsma is named the head coach that he would pursue Tony Granato and Todd Reirden as his assistants. Prying Reirden out of Washington might prove difficult though.

I'm going out on a limb and saying that Luke Richardson has no chance. There was an article in the Ottawa Sun that no one has asked to speak with him or MaClean and also that TM hasn't spoken to LR in over a year.

As far as I know he hasn't asked the Sens for permission to talk to him.

Im sure theres some kind of rule about publicly representing "pegula-co" or what ever the umbrella is called. Im sure it was an honest mistake, but people need to understand that twitter isn't their own private little universe.

I wasn't a fan of Richardson or MacLean, so i'm good with it. I was told a couple weeks or so ago that they like Richardson.

I was really on the fence with Byslma but I'm ok with it. If he can get Granato or some other top flight assistants to build his coaching staff, great. Getting Hynes or Richardson as assistants would be really good as well.

Whatever coach they hire, I just want them to be able to put the young players in a position to succeed. We haven't had that in years.
