I think the Canes are getting Hannafin at 5.... any way you take anyone else if mcdavid, eichel, strome, and mm are gone?
- AlfieisKing

I think if Hanifin is there, Francis does cartwheels up to the podium.

Justin Faulk - Noah Hanifin
Haydn Fleury - Ryan Murphy

Is a good looking D-Core

If it's Strome or Marner, I think RF sells that pick to someone to drop down a spot or two and grab Rantanen or Provarov?

Congrats your team made the playoffs on an improbable run with a goalie that was playing way beyond his career norm. Saying your players have more value bc you were a playoff team is a false dichotomy.
- DDM-Coga

That was my point - COL had a great year and came back down to earth; although Im sure you have more to say about that then I do.

The fact about the goaltending there is b.s. Goaltending is the most inconsistent and smallest margin of talent in the league (and it's not even close). Hammond coming in was only part of the reason. The Sens had good goaltending from Lehner in oct and Anderson later on - Stone arrived. Methot was healthy with Karlsson which is so underrated; that pushed all the D down which was important bcuz no on belongs with Karlsson. Heck even Phillips was outstanding in oct with Karlsson but he's 94 years old. But the young guys like Hoffman, Lazar, Pageau, Ceci, Weircioch, even Puempel stepped in and scored big goals on that run. Hammond may have been the spark, not the fire

Reading Leafs fans thoughts on Babcock are funny. The guy is Jesus with wizard powers according to them...

If he could do half of the things they say Detroit would have won every cup the last decade.

Yes Hammond was the fire, he had a 0.941 save percentage in 24 starts, that over a quarter of the season. NO GOALIE in the modern era has come into the league with an over 0.920 save percentage and maintained it.

So be prepared to have your heart stepped on when Hammond gets poop pumped down to reality.

hmm... ya that D looks good... maybe even too high ... did murphy have a good campaign?

Can't argue with that. I def think the leafs are going to take Marner or Strome. Arizona's tough to say what they'll do. I'd still take Strome at 3. In which case it'll go marner at 4. hannafin at 5 (I wouldn't be surprised if he slides. lindholm was kind of a surprise pick too for some people - obv not a bad decision)

Murphy looks much stronger than anticipated. Bill Peters' defensive schemes play right into his skillset so it's a real good fit. Dunno that he'll ever be more than a decent #3-4-5 guy, but still.

Agreed.

And I heard that the "discussion" that Babcock mentioned having with his wife that ended very quickly was about Edmonton. He asked her and she said no she didn't want to come back. Good.

You're a troll. Nothing more. All your trade proposals and quest for "knowledge" are just bait to argue your "knowledge". People not liking you isn't a big deal, absolutely nobody taking you serious is.
