Like I've said before. If at 21 the Sabres are still drafting and he is on the board, he should be the pick.

That's how I feel about Pysyk for the most part. I do think he has a great outlet pass though and his skating ability is going to allow him to play big minutes if he's needed to. In fact, his skating might be his biggest asset.

After reading some of the final mocks and rankings, it's not a stretch to think he could be available at 31.


Or you could move 31 and 3rd (maybe 51 if you really want him ) to move up a couple of spots and take him.

His style is so much different than most of the defenseman you see now. He's not a puck chaser. The hockey IQ you mentioned is why. He's able to read the play and just know where to be. That combined with how effortless of a skater he is is going to be why he's able to play big minutes.
