Depends.........

Short term, yes. If we didn't get Babcock I would actually like them to get him as that would probably be the end of them doing the rebuild correctly and they would continue to be in the same area of irrelevance that they are in now. It is in their best interests to finish last for the next two years.

Not so much, technically yes due to more lottery balls...but the draft lottery changes beginning next year with the first THREE picks in the lottery, not just the first.
Also, 2015 is an annomolly in that two generational talents in McDavid and Eichel were available....so finishing last guaranteed the team 1 of the 2.
hence, this is likely the last time driving to 30th is off critical importance...until there are 4 generational talents to choose from...and that ain't happening until someone walks on water again.

He's definitely a good cook. And my step mom is from the Ukraine and makes their traditional dishes really well. Not sure what spin they plan on putting on it, but if they can get some of that type of stuff out there and the Buffalo favorites, they should do pretty well. Not a ton of those types of things there. But his friends have been begging him for years to open a restaurant or something. They always make him cook for their get-togethers.

Closer to 6 yr/45 mil in total. Still tons of money for Babs but this has to be an even better sign than McDavid if he comes. would you rather have McDavid/McLennan or Eichel/Babcock? I'd go with Mike and Eich just because Eichel is more pro ready now and all around player. McDavid is pure offense and finesse but I would bet Eichel starts off his career a tiny bit better
