Why's that? I guess it's what people make of it. Most people I know that have gone have done the whole "live like a king" for a month or so and just chilled on the beach.

I dunno...it's been 2.5 months..maybe cuz I was just in Chiang Mai, Bangkok and now poopty Phuket, which are cities , and kinda lame...heading to the islands in the morning so maybe things will pick up. I thought Laos was the best part for sure. Thailand is sorta sleazy and you're constantly harassed on the streets .or at least the cities are like that.

Yeah, I kinda wish I Avoided them a bit too, but hey, I have 3 weeks of beaches and hammocks to look forward too, as long as the buses and boats aren't too miserable it should be alright.
