lehner doesnt have an attitude prob........he has a control his emotions on the ice at certain times..........mental side of the game is only thing holding him front the point where we don't have these talks
- AlfieisKing

To be fair, the mental facet is whats holding most goalies back from being anything special.

Buddy. We are not idiots. You guys have been talking up Lehner as being on the verge of greatness since 2012....he still hasn't got his poop together and is nowhere near a starter in this League. The Sens know this and will like
Y re-sign the Hamburger and give Lehner away for a 3rd round pick...which is all he deserves.

The list of Goalies I would rather pursue is about as long as the trans Canada highway.

I don't mind talking prospective goalies....but the more this Jabroni talks the more I like the sound of Eddie Lack.

I mentioned Lack earlier, he would probably be available too for the right offer but trading with the Nucks is weird, they will try to bend us over like last time and we will tell them to (frank) their hat like last time.

Sure. But I wouldn't trade more than a 2nd round pick for a tender right now.

I like Lack, Gibson, Elliot and Talbot.

For a 3rd + maybe Anderson or Jones.

I am lost when it comes to a goalie for the Oilers, in a perfect world we would land an excellent and already proven goalie but that won't happen so it seems to come down to someone that could be great but it will be hit or miss.

I hope all it takes is a 2nd but something tells me the goalie will come via free agency and not a trade.

Eddie Lackmis probably the best proven goalie that might be available....why cheap out or settle for a lesser goalie?

Leaf fans are ridiculous, they're over there thinking Bernier can fetch them our #9 pick plus Hertl or Tierney or Mirco.

Yeah, they do. Reading comprehension. The preds didn't actually have a lot of trouble scoring. And as you have clearly stated, their D and tending is so good, why would they down grade their D to add scoring up front? Makes no sense as it isn't exactly a need of theirs. So just give up this Jones pipe dream. It's bad enough that it isn't going to happen, but even worse with your terrible 3-way proposal.
- ruttager17

I'll admit their offence isn't as bad as I thought before but a lot of it coming from the back end. They don't need to "trade Jones" they just need another top level forward - a game breaker. Something the oilers have more so than anyone arguably

You are asking people to counter stupidity..this is the same as someone asking a person to counter argue why they shouldn't be digging the toast out of the toaster, with it still plugged in

True but Lehner has shown he can overcome it. The problem is the Sens have Anderson and then Hammond - also that rare concussion injury. That was bizarre. But perfect timing for Hammond to come in and playing like broduer

Well you don't have to be an idiot to say something incorrect. I don't know who's been talking up Lehner but I believe the perfect time is now to trade for him - frankly I hope they don't. I don't want to trade Lehner - but with the O'Connor kid in now.. what ya gunna do

Why of all players would the Sharks move Hertl?
