That's not the worst idea....Jones is solid. I just can't see Nashville moving on him for offence yet. Honestly there will be no trade for a star D man...best hope is to sign Martin or Greene as a UFA and wait. Might be better off in the long run, especially if we use the Pens pick on a D-Man. Not sure I'm that patient.

There's about a half dozen guys on there worth signing for 2-3 years.

Martin, Greene, Beauchemin, Erhoff, sekera, Michalek....the right combo of 2 of them would be a solid upgrade.

Lehner can't ride a stationary bike and is sitting in darkness and Eb's i'd say is a keeper for another year or 2. Would rather just sign Hammond as a UFA when he hits the market and not pay you anything.
