Nurse comes down to what Chiapet does to address the D issue and how strong of a TC/Preseason and first 9 games he has. There shouldn't be any harm in sending him to the AHL for a full season. Look how Pietrangelo was handled and he's doing just great.

I don't understand everyone who says that Nurse and Draisaitl have to start the year in the AHL. A lot can change over a summer and they should play for a spot on the team, if they make it great if not they have a backup plan in the minors, but to pigeon hole either player in any league is hard to say.

MacT said that he's going to leave it up to Leon to find his level (same for nurse) if he comes in and earns a spot (not gift-wrapped like last year) then they should be on the team, if not then they know what they need to do to get back to the show.

Realistically, if you had to choose between trading Hall or Eberle, which would you prefer to see go? I ask only because seems like you'd get more for Hall, and he has a history of injuries.

Far and away I trade Eberle. It seems most media member like him as a player more than hall based on international success. Hall is far and away our best player, although likely not when mcdavid comes to town.
